Drew Morris, M.B.A., is a Founding General Partner of Cyto Ventures, an early-stage life sciences venture fund. Mr. Morris, through Cyto Ventures, partners with first-in-class therapeutics startups to bring life-saving treatments to market. Prior to founding Cyto Ventures, Mr. Morris was the Executive Director of BlueTree Capital Group. At BlueTree, Mr. Morris was responsible for managing the deal sourcing, due diligence, and term sheet negotiation processes as well as playing an integral role in investment decisions.
Drew received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Boston University and first applied his engineering skillset at GE Transportation. At GE, he was responsible for laying the groundwork for the development of GE’s Industrial Internet. Drew then complimented his technical prowess with a strong business foundation by getting his M.B.A. from Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business. While at Tepper, Drew concentrated in entrepreneurship and was also an active member of Pittsburgh’s startup scene by working with many local startups in finding the correct product-market fit.
