Maxim Jago (Moderator)
Award-winning filmmaker, screenwriter, futurist & public speaker

Maxim Jago is a regular speaker at film festivals and media technology conferences, including Cannes, Sundance, Raindance, NAB, IBC, Adobe Max and BVE.

Maxim consults as a futurist for several media technology companies, describing future technologies, social change, the use of media technology for storytelling, and future social paradigms. He is CIO for FilmDoo, the online film distribution company, and is as a director he’s developing four feature film projects, including several VR elements.

He is an Adobe Master Trainer and the author of the official Adobe Premiere Pro Classroom in a Book (used by film schools all over the world), an Avid Certified Instructor and EDIUS Master Trainer. He creates official training tutorials Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere Pro, and writes the official classroom book for Grass Valley EDIUS – he has created over 1,800 video tutorials describing post-production workflows.

Maxim is Chief Futurist at GameFace Labs, developing next-generation VR experiences. He lives mostly in the air but officially calls London, England home.


James Finlay

James originally intended to have a career as an officer in the U.S. Air Force. However, an unexpected turn of events resulted in leading him to co-found LookAroundGolf, a company that leveraged immersive photography to enable golf courses to better share the hidden beauty of their course. From his wins and losses as an entrepreneur, James realized the value of his education and sought out further education with master’s degrees in Behavioral Communications and Business Administration. Drawing on his deeply felt obligation to serve others, and his expertise in technology as a way to transform an industry, James turned his focus to improving Education for others, so it could impact their lives the way it had impacted his.

Since 2014, James has worked on policy initiatives as a Consultant, at Cengage Learning, and now at Adobe, focused on innovative technology to help learners gain more skills, faster. While a part of the University at Buffalo, James worked with the Office of the President to help define the University’s Civic Leadership position, helped the School of Pharmacy assess the impact of a digital, first classroom experience, and volunteered with the 26th Congressional District of New York on special projects focused on public/private partnership. At Cengage, he expanded a software offering to the entire portfolio, helping take an introductory product and growing it to be the #2 solution in the space. At Adobe, he revamped the onboarding and product engagement experience that student subscribers go through. Helped to launch an intent-based onboarding process for Photoshop users and is now currently leading the effort to improve cross-app engagement for all of Adobe’s Creative Cloud subscribers worldwide. Through each of these roles he has maintained a passion and goal to help everyone find their voice and add to their creative tool belt, helping to ensure that regardless of circumstance, everyone has a way to share their experience and define their own way in the world.

CEO, Temi USA Inc.

In 1986, Danny Isserle’s dad bought him his first XT DOS operated computer and he became very busy tearing it apart and reassembling it, til he discovered it had the game “Digger” installed and he laid down the screwdrivers for a bit. Ever since, he has been attached to the latest tech, with a strong affiliation to video, photography, and sound as a filmmaker and content creator. A few years ago, he was lucky to cross paths with temi at its very first stages and has been focused on giving birth to the world’s first personal robotic assistant that works and has value to its users.


Amy Peck
Founder & CEO, EndeavorVR

Amy Peck is the founder & CEO of EndeavorVR, a leading global VR/AR (XR) strategy & consulting firm. Amy is a recognized thought-leader in the space and speaks globally on the future of XR. She is a venture partner at the Capital Region AR/VR Accelerator, holds several Advisory Board roles and Co-chairs the VRARA Enterprise Committee.

Amy’s passion for this technology began at Leap Motion where she launched the Enterprise division working with clients across every major vertical including healthcare, entertainment, retail, hospitality, education, and government.

It became clear that there was a need to help foster XR development in the commercial arena and more importantly, shepherd these critical early wins. EndeavorVR was conceived for this very purpose.

Her own personal mission is to see XR fundamentally improve every aspect of our lives with the goal of making this technology accessible and transformative for everyone.
