IEEE PES Scholarship Plus Initiative – Scholarship application deadline: June 30, 2019
Recognizes students who are interested in the Power & Energy industry. Recipients can receive up to $7,000 and assistance with career experience opportunities to undergraduate electrical engineering students. Applicants must be:
- A full-time student working towards an Electrical Engineering bachelor’s degree
- A citizen or permanent resident of the U.S.A., Puerto Rico or Canada.
- Willing to take Power Engineering courses
- Have a GPA 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scal
Past recipients have noted “Being named a PES Scholar has provided me with financial assistance, but, more importantly, it set me apart from other students in the power and energy sector looking for the job!”.
